Dr Boyd Murray

Bio: 
Dr Boyd Murray received his BEng degree from University of Queensland, his MEng degree from University of Technology, Sydney, and his PhD degree from Macquarie University. Throughout his career, he has worked in industry and academia almost entirely on research and design of wireless systems including aircraft MLS (Microwave Landing Systems) for Interscan International, cellular mobile telephone networks for Optus, microwave point-to-point
radio equipment for AWA-Plessey, and MIMO OFDM Wireless LANs for CSIRO. He has published in the academic literature and is an inventor on several wireless patents. He has also done training and lecturing for AWA-Plessey, Nokia Systems, and Macquarie University as well as appearing as a speaker and keynote speaker at numerous conferences, workshops, and other gatherings.  Dr Murray is now the founder & principal consultant of Murray Wireless, working with multiple aspects of the Wireless industry.

Dr Bevan Jones​

Bio: 
Dr Bevan Jones  received his BSc, BEng, & PhD degrees all from the University of Sydney. Throughout his career, he has worked in industry almost entirely in the technical realm of microwave circuit design (especially microwave antennas) in frequencies ranging from VHF (30-300MHz) up to X-Band (8-12GHz).  After being a lecturer at Wollongong University, then working on a millimetre-wave radio-telescope at Germany's Max Planck Institute, Dr Jones became technical director at Interscan International where he led the engineering team designing the famous Interscan MLS (Microwave Landing System) aircraft landing system together with many other aircraft navigation systems.  Following this, Dr Jones founded Argus Technologies where, as Technical Director, he led a team designing and manufacturing cellular base-station antennas which are now heavily deployed throughout Australia, China, and other countries worldwide.  At Murray Wireless, Dr Jones advises on the design & construction of printed-circuit microwave antennas as well as standalone antennas for cellular & IoT products.

Param Chouhan received his BEng degree from Punjab University Chandigarh and his MEng degree from University of NSW. He has over 15+ years of experience in Telecommunications, Information technology, Finance and Insurance industries. Over 10 years of experience in Project /Program management & Continuous Improvement helping drive profitability and service delivery in a multi-vendor multi-technology network environment for Australian leading Telcos. He ha delivered many high visibility Telco Network Infrastructure, Data Centre, OSS/BSS/VAS applications and IT programs and projects for top tier companies like NBN, Telstra, Optus, Nokia & Vodafone. As a result driven Project Leader & certified Lean six sigma practitioner, he is a keen problem solver and enjoy end-to-end project delivery, whilst delivering corporate objectives for customer service excellence.  At Murray Wireless, Param does  telecommunications site design, planning, and commissioning, as well as being involved with RF Planning & legal expert witness work as required.  
​​Bio: 
John Lush received his MA degree (Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Electrical Sciences) from the University of Cambridge, UK.  He is a Professional Engineer with over forty years’ in-depth experience in the design, construction, & commissioning of all forms of radio-communications systems based on his extensive knowledge of the cellular industry in Australia. John is a skilled project manager who has been responsible for several projects with values in excess of $A100 million using his proposal writing and contract negotiation skills. At Murray Wireless, John does telecommunications site design, planning, and commissioning, as well as being involved with RF Planning as required.

Michael Stanton received his BEng and BSc degrees from the University of Sydney.  Throughout his career, he has worked in industry on design of digital electronic systems including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems at Hale & Rogers, point-to-point DMRs (Digital Microwave Radios) at AWA-Plessey, & RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) systems at Magellan Technology. As a result of this work, he is listed as an inventor on numerous patents. At Murray Wireless, Michael is in charge of digital electronics design & PCB layout.

Bio: 
Hari Ramachandran received his BE degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, India & his Diploma in Financial Services, Financial Planning from the International Institute of Technology, Melbourne. In his early career, he worked in the CEO's office of India's premier research organisation, C-DOT (Centre for Development of Telematics) developing numerous contacts, at high levels of the Indian telecommunications industry, which he has retained to the present day.  After migrating to Australia, Hari worked as a Senior Manager at Optus Singtel - again developing and maintain many senior telecommunications industry contacts.  Since departing Optus Singtel,  he has founded and operated two wealth management consultancies whilst also maintaining his participation in the telecommunications industry.  At Murray Wireless, Hari is in charge of business development for training, speaking, & lecturing to the telecommunications industry.  In this capacity,   Hari has negotiated & organised speaking tours in India including  keynote speaker roles and holding technology workshops.

Bio: 
Our Sydney-based RF Planning Group is able to do cellular RF outdoor/indoor/carpark planning (coverage, capacity, interference, etc) for 2G/3G/4G cellular systems as well as Wi-FI & IoT systems.  The group uses the EDX Wireless Smart Planning tool and is capable of using several other RF planning tools as required by customers.  The group also does microwave link design using the Mentum Planet RF tool and can adapt to other tools as required.  The RF Planning Group can also provide full turn-key solutions including site visit, RF planning, equipment procurement, installation, & final test.  Site visits can be arranged for Sydney & other areas of Australia upon request.
